The Welcome to La Familia on September 15 (rain date of October 13) will usher in Latine Heritage Month and provide an opportunity to engage new and returning students. As in previous years, we are planning for an outdoor program that features student organization tabling, cultural performances, food, and a DJ!
Event is free and open to the public!
Our special guest performer is the Afro Venezuelan ensemble Tambor y Caña NYC, led by Willie Quintana and comprised of talented musicians and dancers from urban and rural communities across Venezuela who bring rare regional knowledge of traditional arts forms.
