Rosalind Pryor (Rosy) joins the Center for Latino Arts and Culture (CLAC) as the new Administrative Coordinator.
She is a dedicated and community-focused professional with a diverse background spanning from healthcare, higher education, and the arts. As a Certified Medical Assistant, she brings a strong foundation in care, attention to detail, and compassion to the work and those she serves. Prior to joining the CLAC, Rosy worked in Human Resources at Rutgers University, an experience that has strengthened her organizational, communication, and people-centered skills.
In addition to her professional journey, she is a Certified Makeup Artist with a passion for creativity and self-expression. She was born and raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey and takes pride in her roots and values giving back to her community. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and embracing life as a proud girl mom. She is excited to contribute her unique blend of experiences, creativity, and dedication to supporting and uplifting the Latine/x arts and culture on campus and beyond.
Rosy is committed to creating a welcoming and organized space where students, staff, and faculty can feel seen, supported, and empowered to engage in the community. She will be supporting the CLAC with the day-to-day operations to help ensure the team runs efficiently and effectively. In addition, she will assist the team with coordinating programs and events and help connect students with campus resources.
