  • Latino Student Leadership Development—support for conferences, workshops, retreats and other activities that bolster Latino student leadership at Rutgers and expand mentoring and career networking opportunities through alumni engagement.
  • Alternative Spring Break Stipends—merit-based travel stipend support  of up to $500 is offered to Rutgers students participating in service learning activities during Spring Break
  • Latino Arts and Culture Undergraduate Grant—travel, equipment and supplies support of up to $1,000 is offered to undergraduate students who are pursuing capstone projects (thesis, research but also creative activities) that relate to a student’s major and are mentored by a Rutgers faculty;
  • Community Outreach Programs—funding to support programs that serve New Brunswick underserved families and children through various partnerships with community based organizations such as the New Brunswick Public Library, PRAB and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Programs supported include the Artists Mentoring Against Racism, Drugs & Violence (AMARD&V): Healing Through the arts Summer Program, a five-week, full day summer camp provides arts and life skills curriculum targeting underserved youth ages 10-16 in New Brunswick; the Day of the Dead Celebration at the New Brunswick Public Library, and other community outreach programs.
