Facilities Reservation

The Center for Latino Arts and Culture is located at 122 College Avenue. It serves as the CLAC’s primary place to conduct its business and programs, as well as a space for students to meet, study, and conduct their organizational meetings and events.

Student organizations, faculty, and other members of the University community may reserve the use of the CLAC and its facilities, including conference room, parlor room and equipment, by contacting our offices. There is no charge for usage of the CLAC and its facilities provided that: 1) the program has been approved by the CLAC administrative staff, 2) there is no CLAC sponsored activity already scheduled for the proposed date and time, and 3) there are no admission fees being charged for the event.

Non-profit organizations outside Rutgers whose work is consistent with the Center’s mission may also reserve our facilities as long as they meet the same criteria outlined above. However, priority will be given to requests from the Rutgers community. All non-Rutgers based organizations (whether non-profit or for profit) wishing to use our facilities must first contact CLAC Director Carlos Fernandez.

Below is the link to the CLAC Facilities Schedule and the Facility Request Form. Please use the link to view the schedule and to check if facilities are available for the day and time that you need them. Once you know that the facilities are available when you need them, please prepare the Facility Request Form and submit it to CLAC Secretary Carla Ortiz by FAX at 732-932-1589 or by email at ortizc@rci.rutgers.edu. If you have any questions, please contact Carla Ortiz at (732) 932-1263. All reservations must be made at least one week in advance.
